The Boston South Road is finally after its stage of reconstruction and is now ready for traffic to use. The road was under construction for more than a month. Initially, the road was said to be recontinued within a week, but the finishing date kept extending every week. The authorities mainly gave reasons for it as the weather and the sewer problems were more than anticipated.
With the road rebuild completed more than a day early, the team is leaving the site so traffic can be allowed back onto the route.
It is worth noting that some minor works will continue, but these will have little – if any – impact on traffic flow in the future. Minor drainage works and footpath reviews will take place in the coming weeks, and small crews will carry out any other work to alleviate any further disruption.
