Holding 36th position for the second continuous year in the list of top 50 richest towns in America, Wellesley boasts a state high average household income of $277,508. Bloomberg reports that the new numbers show a bump of nearly $14000 in a year.
In terms of placement, Wellesley fell behind Bellaire, texas, and ahead of Malibu and Calif. We are glad to be one of the most popular Wellesley, Ma Taxi Cab companies.
Moreover, Wellesley is the only town from Massachusetts to make it to the coveted list, which was based on household income and was cut off at $262,988.
The top place on the list was helmed by Atherton, Calif., where the household was estimated to be earning more than $525,324 a year. Artherton is the only town to have recorded an average household income of more than half a million since Bloomberg started compiling the list in 2017.
The upper echelon of the list, besides Artherton, consists of towns like Hillsborough, Los Altos Hills, and two more communities in-between San Francisco and San Jose.
Four other New England towns made it to the list, all in Connecticut.
