Redfin reports that the pandemic is making homeowners rethink their choices for housing. The study reveals that due to the increase in remote working in the past two years greater than 1\/3 of American<\/strong> workers are able to work from home at all times. This allows workers to move to lower-cost homes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hallett stated that her business has grown after the lockdowns started and remote workers comprise the majority of her clients.\u00a0<\/span>“You could work any location therefore why not do it out of Portland, Maine?”\u00a0<\/span>The research attributes the influx in part to the economy and cites data showing that the average Portland property is about $200,000<\/strong> less than the one in Boston.<\/span><\/p>\n
